Sod Terms and Community Guidelines
Updated October 25, 2026.
Using Sod
By choosing to start using Sod, you agree to these terms and community guidelines. Meet the minimum age for your home country shown by our signup check, provide truthful eligibility information, and keep your sign-in credentials private. Read our Privacy Policy before providing account information.
Share with care
You retain ownership of your content. You give Sod permission to store, process and display it to provide your chosen sharing, personal archive, support and safety features. Only share content you have the right to share, respect others’ privacy, and obtain permission where needed before posting another person’s information or photos.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking or child sexual abuse material. See our Child Safety Standards.
- Sexually explicit content, pornography, nonconsensual intimate imagery or sexual harassment.
- Threats, harassment, bullying, hateful attacks, encouragement of violence, exploitation or instructions to cause harm.
- Impersonation, scams, spam, doxxing, unlawful activity, privacy violations or infringement of others’ rights.
- Abusing reports, evading bans or attempting unauthorized access to Sod or someone else’s account.
These rules apply to stories, photos, private messages, reactions, names, circles, invitations and support interactions. Private circles have the same safety standards.
Safety and moderation
Automated safety screening checks content before sharing. Flagged content is not shared or sent for manual review; you can change it and try again. If screening is unavailable, nothing is shared and you can try again later. Sod may separately review reports, remove content, restrict or suspend accounts, and ban accounts that violate these rules. Reports go to Sod’s moderators; reporting does not identify you to the reported person. Use the report and block controls on stories, messages and people. Contact abuse@sodmobile.com for safety concerns or account appeals. Do not attach suspected illegal sexual images of children to email; describe the concern and include an in-app report or content reference.
We may preserve restricted evidence and refer suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities. Sod is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
Deleting content and leaving
Delete content and your account through the app, or request account deletion at our deletion page. Independently saved copies may remain outside Sod. Safety and legal retention exceptions are described in our Privacy Policy.
Contact and changes
Contact Sod at abuse@sodmobile.com for service and safety questions, or privacy@sodmobile.com for privacy. We will notify users of material changes where required. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply where you live.
